Maybe some of you Super Valk guys can help.

I'm adding a trunk to my standard that I'm mounting to a luggage rack, and I'm adding two (one each side) light bars under the trunk that will be mounted to the luggage rack.  I want to be able to take the trunk off for solo riding and be able to put it back on for 2 up when needed/wanted......but I need some type of quick disconnect for the wiring.

I'll be leaving the mounts on the fender struts for the luggage rack and mounting a grab rail there for when it's solo.  I'm thinking that's probably about the best place to have/hide it.....but I could use a few suggestions here.

What's a good quick type disconnect for the wiring.....and what's a good way to run it/hide it and where to put it when it's not in use?

I would look at some sort of trailer light plug (male/female) wire assm. It would be weather proof. I would most likely run it up the inside of the mount so it was kind of hidden from site, and maybe just tuck it under the pillion when not in use.

I recently got a Givi trunk, an E55 I think.

An option for it is a quick-disconnect wiring kit.

I haven't installed it yet, so I might be dreaming...

I plan to make the wire to come from the trunk and
go under the seat, you'll be able to see the wire when
the trunk is on. Under the seat "somehow" I plan
tap into the brake light wires, hopefully in a non-intrusive
way (I tapped into the highbeam wire in the headlight for
my cobra lights without cutting or modifying the headlight
wires), under the seat. The quick-disconnect socket will be
under there, so nothing will look different when the
trunk is off (most of the time)...
