A John Deere 332 Lawn Tractor. these were made in the late 1980's. It is the diesel version of the 318, and is coveted by many as the best lawn tractor ever made. I sold my zero turn and want to go back to a lawn tractor. So if anyone knows of where a nice one is for around 3 grand...."let me know please"

I wouldn't trade a half dozen of those old John Deere lawn tractors we used to have at work for even one of my 60" cut Dixie Choppers.......but then, you can turn one of those JD's into a racing machine...... cooldude Cheesy

WOW $3,000.00 for a 80's model lawn mower....You do want one don't you  cooldude
You don't need a stinkin' lawn mower you need a 1995 Lumina with low miles that I can hook you up with   Wink   Just cleaned this up and put in the front yard .

Joe,
I had a JD 318 and got rid of it when the zero turns started coming out about 10 yrs ago. After being hit by a tornado and losing all my shrubs, trees and all landscaping, I need something that will mow and can hook attachements (front bucket, tiller, grader blade etc.) to for landscaping. I'm not the young strong man I was when we bought this house 30 yrs ago and I did it all with a shovel & wheelbarrow.

Stanley,
I agree what your saying about zero turns....but you also have tractors at the shop too

Eric,
I did find a couple on craigs list in MD. I may give you a shout to check them out for me.

This is how I would like to set it up.

Knowing what it is you need to do, I understand now.....if you ONLY wanted to mow grass, a 0-turn would be the ticket.....for landscaping, that JD is what you need......I actually have been drooling over a BX25 Kubota.....the one with the front loader and backhoe......new they are ~$16,000........
