Ok guys and gals, Im new here... Have not even been a member for a year now.  I know when I joined in the summer time, it was nothing but ride reports, cool ass pics, cool ass bikes, and cool ass pics.  People helping people and people wanting to be around others...

Those days are gone with the winter time crap... Just wanting to see if im the only one that sees that...

Oh, and keep the chick pics comin... Thats about the best thing on here of late...

Willow, if Im out of line, just delete the thread, Im cool with that... not trying to start a war, just ask a question.

It is like this every winter.  More so in election years.  Riding weather is around the corner.  It is 70 here today.  cooldude

I vote for it all. It dont bother me to read it. I dont take anything personal. Cant say I dont like anyone on the board. I jump to another board when I want to look at biker chics, see some cussin, or other biker party material.

Primarily a Valkyrie motorcycle board.

Occasionally, all those other things seem to pop in, usually during the winter months when folks start suffering from PMS (parked motorcycle syndrome).

I wondered if it was just a winter time thing... Here in kansas, it has not been a "good" winter at all. We are way way behind on rain, and expecting a hot summer... But we have been riding.. I bet i have put on at least 200 miles a month since there was not alot of moisture, and the cold did not stick around forever...

Now with March here this week, we are into Cassoday Rally rides and everything else we have planned for the summer.  Used this board to get the information to do my maint this month, and we are not only ready to ride, but riding!

Hope spring comes soon for the rest of you guys... Im ready to see some more trip reports, pics of pretty bikes in pretty places!

It'll get worse as election time gets closer.  I don't mind the variety and sometimes contribute to it.  I no longer watch the news, just sign on here to see whats going on.

Not much ridin' to do or talk about in a lot of the world right now. That doesn't mean we just close up an wait on warm weather. This is pretty much the norm for winter. Don't click on what you don't wanna read.

And you left out,
Is it a firearms board?
Is it a music board?
Are we just bored?

What kind of board is this?

Why it's whatever kind of board you want it to be!

You can post whatever interests you!

You can pass on the things that don't interest you!

Why, it's probably the best darn board on the whole internet!

Need more boobie threads and secretary photo interviews though.

I believe it's all of the above, and getting weaker every day.

The "bans" and the deleted posts and the off limit topics are for children, which I feel we are being treated like lately.  This is a motorcycle board.  Probably 99.9% male and the same percentage are adults (regardless of how they act).  To censor speech on a motorcycle board to "protect" the delicate ears(eyes) of the 0.1% is silly, to me.  We'll censor posts so those who can't control which posts they open don't get offended.   uglystupid2

First and for most it is a motorcycle board dedicated to the greatest cruiser ever made. The Valkyrie.

With that said. It is winter time and for most of the members here it is to cold or snowy to get out and ride. So PMS shows it wicked face. Now I personaly dont mind the political and other non Valk related topics.  The problem is a few members (one in perticular) cant make his opinion known without insulting someone or belittling them because he thinks his opinion is the only one that counts. Now most if us can voice our opinions without resorting to name calling but for some its second nature.

So KS stick around. Read what looks interesting to you. Skip everything else. It should get better once the weather gets better......Enjoy the inzanity........
