Gilligan and Navigator - Wherever we ended up

Southwest Indiana

« on: February 27, 2012, 04:52:42 PM »

Today it was sunny and in the high 50s.  That's when I always think of her.  I miss everything we did and all of the plans we made.  She was beautiful.  Don't you think so?

I hope she's still out there in the wind.  Here's a song for her.

Long Lonesome Highway-I Think of Youpowered by Aeva

Ride your Valks as long as you can, because you'll sure miss them when they're gone.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Hi, Sugerbear.  We think of you and look for you every time we ride through St. Louis.  As you know, you raised our spirits in 2008, when we "met" you as we were returning from a 2-month trip to the Southwest through St. Louis.

We are doing well.  Judy is now a 5-year survivor with no recurrence.  We are still traveling to several foreign countries every year.

I did post a ride report from 2003 you might not have seen.  Here is the link.

Ride Safe.

Definitely!  cooldude

As mentioned, the fact that you have all those memories to relate to are the next best thing. I try to put together picture CD's or DVD's of many of my trips and add a little background music from my favorite tunes that hit home. I don't know that anyone else appreciates them quite as much as I do since I can personally relate.

Oh yeah, great color selection on her as well, I'm kinda partial to that set up...  Wink

Do you have a program with which you can time the slide changes with the music?  If so, what do you use?

I definitely wanted the black and chrome when I first saw the ads on the Valkyrie Interstate in 1999.  We sure got alot of compliments on her for the 10+ years we had her.

You're right, bg.  It was 10 1/2 years ago we met you on your Valk.  Ride Safe, old friend.

No, nothing that timed by slide. You can specify the slide duration (x# of seconds per slide) and I have been able to get it to transition to the preferred slide around the preferred part of the tune.

That sounds good enough for my purposes.  What program do you have?
