Purchased a 2 light bar with 55watt halogen bulbs. Came with a relay. I need to wire switch wire to accessory power . Only thing I can see is a very light guage wire that is labled lt.grn/red in shop manual but looks lt.blue/red on the bike. It's a 97 standard. Is this wire heavy enough or is there a better hook up ? Thanks W.B.

Can't comment to the wire colors .... but I would wire the power to the lights from the relay directly from the battery with an inline fuse.  The switch to relay power can be pretty much any keyed on power source... and a meter or test light can find a keyed on power source.... even the one you mentioned would work provided it was activated at key on.  The important thing is to power the lights thru the relay from the battery and fused by itself, and use the keyed power line to power the switch which is just powering the relay (switch).   And don't use a power source from the headlight, since some of those run thru the starter button switch and you could overload/burnout that switch with your aux lights.

BAttery + to fuse to relay to lights
Accessory line to trigger relay on and off, I also added an on-off switch so I could turn lights off if I wanted to.
don't forget your grounds

Honda supplied an accessory circuit with the connectors located under the right hand cover.

You've probably already found it!

It isn't heavy enough for the lights but it is perfect to power a relay (for the lights).

It is also key activated, you can check it to see!

+1 on everything said so far. I used the blue wire that goes to the headlight
(high beam) to trigger my relay -  to make my light bar only come on with high beams.

My moto-lights are for other people seeing me, my obnoxiously-pointed
light bar is for me seeing better at night...
