Seen it already. Here's the problem with Ted; while he's a hell of a musician he's just just not that smart.

Now, I support Ted completely in principal. But you can't effectively debate someone on the merits of something while hurling epithets at them. Oh sure, the BASE loves it, but we're not the battleground. We're sewn up.

The battleground is the moderates who could potentially go either way on the issue of 2nd amendment rights. Make a rational, well reasoned argument devoid of vitriol and you very well may swing a lot of these people to your cause. Come off sounding like a rabid "gun nut" and you do more harm than good. We need a better spokesman. That's not to say that Ted has no place in the cause because he's worked very, very hard and he's been a great representative of hunters in particular. But I don't want him representing me to people who may be sitting on the fence.

Dammit Advil, you and I agree AGAIN!  Except for Ted being a hell of a musician, (I'm just not a fan of his), but while I agree with his views, I wish he would temper his delivery.  Rude, obnoxious language isn't needed unless that is the audience you are shooting (no pun intended) for.  I do admire the way he stands up for his beliefs.

Yeah Ted's music isn't everyone's cup of tea. In fact, I'm not a huge fan. But he's got great guitar skills, even if I don't own any of his records (with the exception of the first Damn Yankees record).
