Pulled the bike out the other day after it has been sitting in the garage for about 2 weeks. When I hit the starter button in lunged forward. I had the clutch fully engaged. Tapped it a couple more times and each time it wanted to jump forward again until it started then it was ok. Rode to work with no problems. Could this be a problem with the clutch? I'm knew to this so would be thankful for any advice.

The best advice for you would be to only start the bike in neutral, especially when first off.

Starting the bike in gear is, well, you get the idea!

how can i exsplaine this to you? its a wet clutch, if you dont atleast crank it over once or twice a month the half of the clutch tends to dry out and stick to the spring plates..............

If it doesn't rattle and doesn't slip it's fine.
Good rule to follow is never start your bike while in gear.
Kind of like never pull right up next to the car in front of you at a stop light.
Always leave enough room to go around. Always be safe!
