One thing I miss about the Goldwing is all the hidey holes and places to mount stuff.  Sad

So where on a Valk standard do you mount a voltmeter? Ideally, I'd like to be able to see it without straining while in the business position.

Not a lot of places to mount it on a standard. On an Interstate, the inside fairing or radiator pods.
Some people mount stuff on the handlebar clamp.

How about on an inside windshield mount? (assuming the std has a windshield).

Hey Fritz , I mounted my Kury Volt meter right on the top of the tree between the handle bar risers ... so when I get on my bike and start her up , I can see my volt meter clear and un-obstructed ... their great to have so you know what's going on with your charging system ... Thanks the Geezer crazy2

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Mines somewhere on the triple tree. I think to the left. Or it maybe mounted to the tach mount. Jezz, this is sad.  Cry

Is Velcro sufficient to hold it on or do I need to use Liquid Steel?

Velcro on the tree or handlebar clamp or windshield mount should work.

Question is.... is the unit waterproof? If not, make a little raincoat for it (my sat radio wears a raincoat).

My plan when I got to that point was to bend a piece of aluminum and attach between the Tach and Speedo using longer versions of the mounting cross bolts.  Feel free to use it but if you do post a pic or two , so I can see what'd look like when I get to it...

Well, if you're using the almost famous RP industries chin mount volt and temp gages, you mount them here.

Tried to Google "RP industries chin mount volt and temp gages" and got nothing.  Where'd you get those?  Got a link?

Here's my Kury:

Where I mounted it.......

What I see:

I don't have to struggle to see it.  But I don't see it unless I look for it.  Afraid I'd get too fixated on it.  Also the Kury is very bright.  Thought it would be annoying at night if it were out in the open in the line of sight.

You could clamp this on the bars.

Where'd old times go?

Here's mine  Smiley

I bought this product a little over two years ago.  Easy to mount ANYWHERE . .  I put mine on a P-clamp between handle bar clamps.  Works as described.

Unfortunately, last week, it went intermittent then suddenly quit completely.  Undecided

I looked at the Kury but really liked mine because it didn't take up any room, was easy to mount and gave you instant info at a glance. .  in any light.  Cool

I couldn't find my original receipt but I remembered who I had ordered it from and in desperation sent them an Email describing my problem.  :'(

WOW.  These guys are great!  cooldude

They got back to me the very next day and said 'no problem', give us a shipping address and we'll send you a new one.

After giving them the info,  I received a second Email with the delivery info enclosed.

I'd recommend these people without any reservations.  cooldude cooldude cooldude

BnB Tom, I've been running the same meter on my bike for about a year now and it is perfect for me.  Easy to see both day and night and lets me know if alt. is charging. I give two thumbs up. JMHO
