Well, I am still alive and kikin and around. Just not posting much at all-mostly trolling hahahaha. I still live in tax er Massachusettes. My young babe girlfriend is still with moi. I retired from work about 6 or 7 years ago. I prefer to ride alone nowdays. I ride mostly my Valkyrie (you know-the fastest one-black painted. hahahha). Some days I ride my Intruder and some days if I want a power thrill I ride my BossHoss (zz4-350 motor). My mind is still there but my body now hurts due mostly to all the heavy weight workouts I did years back-weight workouts are ultimately tough on the joint and connective tissue and you pay yer price when ya hit 65 or so in age. I take a lot of friggin (ug) pain meds for my still yet to heal back and this has taken its toll on bike riding. I remember posting on the VRCC site many many moons ago as to which place was the best to live and ultimately I have my mind made up. I (and my siblings) have a lot of property, house, wedding hall business etc willed to us by our dad in Serbia. Ideally I would like to live in Serbia 6 months and back in the USA for 6 months and soon I am gonna do it. I have been making yearly trips there but only for less than a month. Time flies! Wow how fast. I remember, I think, the second (or was it the first?) Inzane meet in Ohio. It was great and was good to match up real people to those I met on the VRCC site. Postings on this site were a riot back then. Lots of funny stuff happened. Heck, we even had a Band of Hooligans who made lots of trouble for the rest of us on the VRCC web which ultimately led to a showdown of Lamonster vs Baad Dude on the dyno. It was claimed that Baad Dude cheated and therefore was disqualified and Lamonster won the match! hahahh. Then there was something about sheep-don't remember that though. hahahah. Well, outa breathe now. Gotta run Barbarian the mad serb

Good to hear from ya Mr Serb!! We raced across one of the intercoastal bridges in Daytona during Bike Week many moons ago! Great idea for a post, bassman! WOXOF still lives in Phoenix and we rode together on our annual NYD ride this year. Good guy, like to ride more with him. Anybody else have names from yesteryear they want to add! Curious minds yada yada! WOXOF, second from right:

DickB here. I sold my supercharged/EFI valk to JeffK when I left for China. Since then, I have been around the world with IBM and then 2 years in the Czech Republic. I currently am in Chicago and have an old naked goldwing with a vetter sidecar. I had a really pretty rig I sold before I went to China. My current rig is in process. I am also in the process of buying a Hondamatic that was mentioned on this board. Thanks for the post on that bike. I read the board every day, but I really don't have much relevant to Valkyries to say. I do ship some of the jokes off to some of my friends. I still enjoy hearing the stories of current Valk owners. Not sure who told all of us non valk folks to leave, but I didn't pay any attention. I am 69. Probably should not be working, but I can still contribute so I still work in the computer field. I hope I am smart enough to quit before somebody has to tell me I can no longer cut it. But, so far, my skills are in high demand. Anyway, for what its worth, this board has provided me with lots of enjoyment over the years, even though I don't say much.

Bumble-bee is dead ...Liver cancer took him very quick I tryed to buy his yellow Goldwing however his wife just wanted too much for it IMO. His brother got his Valkyrie you don't hear nothing from that lagre group of Valkyrie owners from middle Tennessee anymore in fact I've not seen any of them post since the VRCC went to this new board a few years ago.Strider ( Warren ) bought his Interstate from one of Bumble-Bees buddies who owned Smith County Cycle that shop has since been closed .

To Mike.......... I actually did start in the business with the IBM 1401 and it did have memory cores. I was in operations when one of the guys had a McD's milkshake that he sat on top of the machine and accidently turned it over. They had to disassemble the machine and clean all of that out of the cores. A lot of it got blown up on the ceiling from the fans. Also, in those days, we had to wear white shirts and ties. We were, after all salary. I helped save a paper handler who got his tie sucked into a paper burster. That was a machine that tore the pieces of computer paper apart. I don't think they do that anymore. In those days, I rode a Honda 305. Biggest Honda had at the time.

Never met you dickb, but we still use the forms burster to this day. We have a few continuous forms that require bursting before delivering to the warehouse. Ours is so fast, I think if you got your tie stuck in it, you would have to cut the tie off to survive. Good to hear these stories... Hay Jimmyt

Bassman, what a great idea for a post!!
I'd like to see Varmint chime in with an update sometime. He used to cause a ruckus and I mixed it up with him a time or two on the old board. But after meeting him in person, we developed a mutual admiration for each other, I'd like to think. Brian was a softy at heart. A while back, he posted his bike in the Classifieds, so he might be retired from riding.
Bagger John was a VERY helpful and knowlegeable guy when it came to working on our bikes. He was also quick to chime in on the tech board. I'm grateful I also got the opportunity to meet him at one of the early Inzanes in Zanesville.

bassman....Thank's for starting this thread, for it sure has brought back some fond memories of times past, and the great people that were part of it all. The first Inzanes in Zanesville, Ohio seem like only yesterday when some of the oldtimers pipe in. Thanks again...John.

Bill Pollack sold his Valk years ago He was living just south of ALbany NY last time I saw him he was with Normand (Quexpress) up at Americade, the year Normand won the best in show. Bill had a power outlet in his fairing, I saved the pic its somewhere. Looked real clean
DalaiLama is still around on the NE Board. THe NE folks do their share of far riding just not with the Club He helped me with my car tire mounting and also fork seals. Great fellow and really great rider. either on the valk or his connie or the other bikes he has
Good idea for a thread thanks

Dennis in Blythe - New grandpa, and a Truck Officer for the state of Arizona, still lives in Blythe.
Bagger John - last I knew he patronized the oHIo Board

The one and only Charles Greene lives in Seattle and as was mentioned, works up in Prudhoe Bay..He keeps in touch when he can. I had dinner with him a couple yrs ago when we were out there for an Alaskan cruise. He's part of Vermin board out in the Northwest.

Great idea for a thread.
Others that come to mind are Highlander who got married at one of the CBRs and I think sold his valk a few years ago. And Chopsaw (Jeff F.) who I talk to on facebook occasionally and hope to ride with this year. Wingman who rode my valk at a past CBR to try out the darkside (didn't like it) and who turned me on to Sony noise canceling ear phones. Doc Moose and Hoosier Daddy don't seem to post much anymore either.
Mr & Mrs. Hollywood of course. I'll never forget seeing Hollywood do the Iron Cross and a very long wheelie on his valk at the first VRCC ride I attended. Nor will I forget a spirited ride with Hollywood, maybe Highlander and several other bikes from Mansfield to Bridgeton during one of the CBRs.
Wonder if anyone still has the photo of 4 valks with front tires all pushed together doing a burnout? I always assumed it was at an early Inzane but I don't really know.
I know there's a dozen handles/names I'm leaving out that I've wondered about lately but that's all for now.
