North Kansas dayride. Went on a little jaunt at 0800, rode all day. towns I visited were: Auburn, Dover, Rossville, Maple Hill, Paxico, Newbury, St Mary's, Onaga, Wheaton, Blaine, Frankfort, Home City, Marysville(had lunch with 3 of my 5 brothers) Herkimer, Barneston, Hollenburg, Hanover,Barnes, Waterville, Randolph, Oldsburg, Westmoreland, Flush, St George and Wamego. 235 miles ans 2 tanks of gas, and I feel good! Took a picture of the Cathedral of the Flint Hills in Newbury.  Hoser  cooldude

I spent the day on a train  Shocked , but rode to work Hoser. You retired guys have it made!! Cool I want to ride up in that neck of the woods again lots of things to see and places I haven't been.  Wink Glad you had a good day  Smiley , how about some more pictures for us poor working stiffs!!! angel

Hey, two of the guys I had lunch with are recently retired from the UPRR, one a conductor/brakeman, one an engineer.  I am very envious of thier pensions!  You gonna do all right.   Shocked  Roll Eyes  Hoser
