We had a blast!  We rode around Lake Levon and stopped in Princeton at Belair’s and Burgers for dinner.  It was looking pretty rainy to the west so we rode back down along the lake and headed back into Allen from the East.  Of course the rain knew which way we were going and headed us off at the pass.  I thought she would hate getting wet but after a minute or two she was going wheeeee!!!!   We got thoroughly wet and the bike got a free wash and it was worth every minute of the ride.  Of course I was scolded for allowing her “Everybody loves a blue eyed girl” shirt to get wet.

The only bummer is her legs cannot reach the pegs so she was riding with her feet on the tops of my saddle bags (shudder).  Anyone have some of those saddlebag luggage rack thingy’s they want to get rid of?

Chuck

PS.  I now have three daughters addicted to riding motorcycles.

I used to take my oldest son John (12th Man) for rides on my '81 Goldwing when he was 5 but stopped because he fell asleep one day and it was just lucky his fingers were through my belt loops so I "felt" him when he slumped.  Woke him up and put him on the tank for the ride back.  Of course, he rides his own Valk now so guess it got into his blood.  Sorta' like that sleep learning thingy.  Didn't work with the younger one yet - used to take him to his school on my Valk but he still hasn't got the bug and he's heading to A&M Sunday.

Glad your daughter had a good time.  Sorry about the rain.

I feel for ya!  Mary passed out from the heat when we were in Austin a few weeks back and I had to ride almost 10 miles to the hotel with her flopping back and forth against my back and her backrest as we rode.  I was scared poo-less she was going to fall off but there was not much I could do but get her to the hotel and air conditioning.  I don't want to repeat that ride again.

No apologies for the rain... I don't mind it and she had a good time.

I took my grandaughter for a ride around a parking lot when she was five.
When we parked she said, "Now I want to go for a 'real' ride on the 'real' road!"
I told her that when her feet touched the pegs we could.
Little did I know that I would have to endure an endless supply of....
Can I go and see if my feet touch now.....how about now.....

Sorry.  When I was young enough to have one 5 year old son, duct tape and bungee cords hadn't been invented yet.  Wink
