Anyone know a good Yamaha forum?
One as good as this Valk one? (yeah, I know, probably nothing would come close, right?)

Got a buddy that is having trouble with a Yamaha Viragra (or something like that) 250.
He brought it over late this evening and I didn't have time to do much with it.

The horn and headlight (hi & lo) doesn't work, maybe just a fuse but I have no idea where the fuses are.
Doesn't look like this thing would be to hard to figure out though.

Or is there anyone here that is famliar with these that can help?

One of the oldest and best Yamaha forums is the 1100 forum here.
http://forums.delphiforums.com/yamaha1100

Or here:
http://www.viragoclassic.com/
http://viragotech.com/
http://old.nabble.com/Yamaha-Virago-f13916.html
http://www.thevirago.co.uk/

That Yamaha Viagra has a really stiff front end.   Smiley

The Virago is the twin 250cc.

horn and turn signals don't work?  sounds like it's in the wires that go to the left handlebar.  if you can, get a volt meter and see what you get when you activate the switches.  there should be a wire harness past the neck that you can break into.  would be great if you can get a color wire schematic of it so you know what wires go to what switch.

good luck.

Thanks for the info and the sites guys.

I didn't think about the switches on the same side of the handle bars. A good key starting place.
