Two questions each with its own picture...



These 2 lines (only one side in pic) Originate between carb 3&5 and 4&6 go to Carb Air Vent Valve.  Do they need to be left open (disconnected) with a filter on them?



In case your wondering, Cylinder #3 is now working at idle. Just puttin things back together and will post details on original thread, after I go for a test ride.  Grin





This 6 into 1 that goes to Evap Purge Control Valve, just needs to be capped either at all 6 carbs or the way you see it in pic.  Is this correct???

These need to stay open, on the 49 State Carbs the hoses go to the rear carb support and the hoses have a turn down which goes into the two holes on that support. On mine, I used one of the left over "T's" and put one of those air breather filters.

don't buy the cheap caps at auto zone etc. they don't last very long.

Buy the caps for the carbs at red eye technical services...Here is their site...redeye.ecrater.com

Make your own with a short piece of vacuum hose and a stopper (such as a ball bearing).

Doesn't need to be a grandiose thing!
