OK MM, I know my much older and wiser brother HG'll be here to drop of my birthday bike any day, it being my birthday an all at the end of the month (now Valk related) so I could sure use some school'n since his favorite is coconut meringue. My meringue just don't come out that presentable with the high altitude so I usually go with a whipped cream top. How about some pointers? That and how does one get a free scholarship to MM's Pie School? My coconut base now awaits your much needed guidance.

You mean....that isn't my birthday bike???? Have you topped that pie yet? Add a little extra cream of tartar and that should stiffen up the meringue when making it at high altitude. And don't leave the pie in the oven too long when browning the meringue. And Gary...you would just have to come visit to attend a MM pie course. This is one of my recent coconut meringue pies.

My mistake, my question probably should have been posted on the Tech Board. Boy yours is very presentable! Nice thick meringue... Here's how mine turned out in between installing a clutch speedbleeder valve and bleeding/replacing its fluid... Thanks for getting back to me. Hope things are going well with the new business. The website looks great!

Hope things are going well with the new business. The website looks great! That does look very inviting! I would eat it!!!! Business is picking up. I have an event where I am making desserts for 500 this weekend. I have also catered some luncheons at doctor's offices, a couple of architect offices, dinner at an assisted living center for 165, decorated a few cakes, and made tons of chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's Day, and I also have a wedding booked! I do believe this is going to work for me and that I am finally doing what I was meant to all along! Thank you for the well wishes and I will see you in a few weeks at the BBQ!

My first thought was YUMMMMMMMM, then I thought, there's got to be an opportunity here. Ever think of doing a MotoMama Valkyrie Cook Book. I'd bet it'll sell out fast. You could also ask for favorite recipes from the forum and use the sales as a fund raiser for events. Baking is a talent that should be shared, let's not let that go to waist or is that waste. I'm pretty sure that talent isn't going to waste but, it just isn't my waist.

WT...? Dangit, maybe next year. Speaking of birthdays, this shot was taken back in the 5B's days and the 3 of us had our b-days recognized. I know Joe/Mellow on the far right but can't remember the gent in the middle (Tony?). Geeze, who's that clean cut youngster on the left?
