Have a question about a Falken Ziex ze912 tire- I know the "preferred" model is the Ziex ZE512 but I found a great deal on a 205/65-16 tire-the specs on both tires are very close. The 912 is a V rated tire instead of a H rating. Can someone tell me if this tire would work? Does anyone have firsthand experience with this tire?

TIA

looks like it is the same round shape, just different center pattern... I would say it would.

you really want a unidirectional tire. tread exactly the same on both sides so there's no change in handling from left to right turns.  that said, somebody here is running the 912. haven't head any bad remarks about it.

Is that the little bit taller but a little narrower and rounder one that someone had posted pics installing on his wing?

Have you not heard?.....Running a car tire will cause a horrible flaming crash / death experience! Evil
I like the look of my GATT better, personal opinion.  I think most any car tire will work "OK".

Just installed my second ZE912. I run the 205-55-16 and love it. I have over 10K on the one on my black standard and have lots of miles left. I've ran 5 CT's over the last several years and I think I like this one the best. cooldude

The Falken is a GREAT rear tire.  I'm on my 6th or 7th now.  I usually run them until the sear indicators start to show; approx 30,000 miles.  Of course, the more steamy take-offs, the sooner the wear indicators manifest.
