I noticed that my rubber vent tubing had a little hole in it, no problem I figured I'll cut some off but under further examination while following the tubing down I noticed a T fitting without a hose on the center tap. Q: is this T fitting supposed to be there?   If so what goes to the center tap? Undecided

Tee fitting is supposed to be there. one port open to act as a syphon break.

Be careful when reinstalling the tank to not kink the vent line, its easy to do.. Kinking it is easy, that is..
