Mine is still on tight, but after 248K of ridin' into the wind and all that clean & polish mostof the chrome is gone.  Anyone know if the part is still available, I'd like to refresh the front fender looks.

Never mind--I just tried "Cobra", which lead me to "Nat'l cycle" and they still list the part as "IN-STOCK" and at pretty much the same price, $59.00 plus shipping!  I ordered one!

I wonder how much it would cost to have the old one re-chromed.......I hear if you find the right guy it looks even better than factory

Can't believe it!!  I ordered the "TIP" Wed AM via the internet and it was JUST DELIVERED a few minutes ago!!  Wow, I'm impressed!  It came in a BIG box and was marked as fragile-Glass!!  It was billed for by Cruiser Customizing out of Calif., but shipped from Tennesse!
