The new Yellow Valk needed new tires.... the old ones had plenty of tread, but were dated from 2001....Got a new set of Cobras front and back with the bike when I bought it..... Put the Yellow on the lift and changed the rear tire out for the new....Went thru the rear end and shaft... All looked GREAT!!!!! The Black and Silver Valk had a front Cobra in good shape.. so I put it on the Yellow... then put the rim off the Yellow with the new Cobra on the Black and Silver... it will get more miles this year.. .Had a problem here..The lift table is great for rear tire changing... but not so much for front tires.... needed to have the front ends of both Valks in the air at the same time... so I bought another bike lift from Harbor Freight ... The good new is.. there is a tire shop in town that will change my tires.. and dispose of the old tire for $12!!!! They can't balance them, but I put Ride-on in and it lines 'em out just fine! Took the 11 1/2" 440 rear shocks off the Black and silver... put them on the Yellow.... took the 12" 440"s off the Harley, and put them on the Black and Silver...took the 13" Progressive 418's off the Yellow and put them on the Harley.... Emptied the fuel on the Yellow and put in fresh with some seafoam....
Pulled the front brake calipers off the Black and Sliver and went through them and got them working... they were really crappy dirty and hanging up and not working right... The Yellow is ready to go.... tomorrow will work to put the the brakes back on the Black and Silver... get 'em bled... All the bearings checked out OK on both Valks!!! The Harley is ready to go!!!!!
Are ya confused yet???? I am!!!!!!! Now I need ta start workin' on FB's Spyder.......

Mam oh man, and I thought I was busy. I was just a holdin da chair down and a watchin TV. That is work to keep goin through da damn index to find a channel & a show I like. Ma Nature has a been playin with us also. 30's for a few days, then a record tying 74 w/30 to 35 mph wind, then 50's and windy and now today a high of in the upper 30's. I did get in a short ride on the day it was 74, but that damn wind was a tussle to ride in. Never tried the 50's day as it was still windy.

Haven't tore into that yet.... no signs of a leak.... and the front end seems stable....That will fall under : as it needs to be done... I did go completely thru the front brakes on the Black and Silver.... rebuilt the calipers, and the master today...and took a ride on the Yellow!!!!!!! the Yellow had little miss coming into the high speed jets.... may have a little gum in 'em.... put some seafoam in the tank and rode some more.... seems to be lining out!!!!! Running the bike is probably the best thing I can do for it... Was a good ride!!!! sweet bike!!!!!
