I recently got a GoPro Hero2. Today I attached it to left handlebar and tried it out. Went for about 150 miles up through south entrance of Joshua Tree Nat Park. Here are a few minutes through the park. I need to get more familiar with camera and a better attachment to the bike. I think I will like it though.
Ended up at Pappy and Harriets for some catfish and then home. Nice day!

Very cool! I was out there once, but never thru the whole place.
I pass Dumbos over the double yellow myself from time to time. LOL

Does it have a stabilization feature like other cameras? I've seen ski pictures with that camera and it seemed more stabile.

ALRIGHT!! I keep entering their contest giveaway hoping for the best! When I use my goPro, it's mostly mounted on my helmet so the vibration isn't too bad. Thanks for the vid! Hwy 1, Big Sur last summer.

I thought that was only legal for sport bikes..? Nice, thanks for posting. Well, in my defense, I had an unobstructed view, the car was going very slow, turning right at the T-intersection AND right where I made the pass, the double yellow disappeared.

I've got the gopro heroHD (see front of bike in sig pic), and the suction cup mount worked very well on the IS fairing for the BRP trip last summer. It would probably work on the windshield too - on the outside. You'll expose the camera to bugs, but mine lived through bugs and rain just fine (had issues with condensation inside the housing on the lens though - but they make strips to fix that). That white pad between the camera and the fairing is just a sponge to help stabilize it to keep it from bouncing so much.

That would have been my defense too, exactly

I thought it was a nice video, the vibrations was there but not that visible. It was good enough for my eyes to see that you were at times over the posted speel limit of 35MPH. Thanks for posting, can't beat California scenery.

If you are riding and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

That must just be the angle of the speedo from the camera. I am sure I would NEVER exceed a posted speed limit.

I am using my son's GoPro which is the previous model. Yours looks much better. I mounted mine on the front fork using hose clamps which is much better than behind the windshield. Here's a photo:
