Went for ride on 99 I/S about 65mph I set throttle lock let go of handle bars and they started to wobble real bad.Did same thing at 45mph. It has new bearings front shocks are good, "it is time for new tire". holding handle bar with one hand no vibration no problem at all, just when I let go of both grips. Took my 2000 I/S let go of handle bars straight down the highway no problem. Front tire on 2000 is better than the 99 has a couple thousand left on it. I would swap the front wheels out but have only one lift, well I have two but other one has bad pump.
Any sugestions, Thank you.

My I/S did the same thing, noticed that if i took my hands off the bars it wood wobble and keep getting worse, put a new tire on and all is right with the world again. had about 15000 on my old venom, but it looked good.

Whenever my bikes did it, it was the front tire. But this doesn't mean it's shot, it may give you thousands more miles, with at least one hand on the bars thou. Could be balance; lift the front end, spin the tire and look at it. It may be obvious, or may not. Ride-on may smooth it out. But I bet when you put a new one on, you can let go of the bars again.

Mine was a front tire issue. Began right after it was installed. Dyna beads didn't help. Replacing the tire did.

When my 99 IS started doing that it had a new tire on it. Turned out the steering head bearings needed retorqued. Maybe a new tire will fix your problem, but, won't hurt to check the head bearings while you are in there.

Try bumping the tire pressure up to 42 psi and see if that helps. My interstate will shake some if the tire pressure get lower than 40 psi.

Fork deflectors that are at different angles will also cause a similar action.
