I wish to inform the entire VRCC membership of the passing of Pat Jamail early today.  Known to us as "Laser Pat".  We received a call from Texas Deb of his unexpected early passing.  A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday March 24.  More details to follow.    Texas Deb will be posting details in a few days.

Regards, T.P. and Nancy

This has just blown me away. I was so looking forward to seeing him at  Hotglues in a couple of weeks. I've never met a nicer guy he will be surely missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Tex Deb and all his family. Ride fast my friend and we'll meet you on the other side.

I am so sorry to hear this.  Pat was one of the good ones.  He was always positive, and always ready to help his fellow man.  Every time I saw him, he had a smile on his face.  He will be greatly missed.

My thoughts go out to Deb.  I am sure that we will have a large contingent of VRCCers on the 24th.  Please let us know anything we can do to help out, though.  We'll make it happen.

Just turned on my pc!  I am in disbelieve and sitting here staring at the screen!  You just never know when it's your time. Sincerest condolences from us to Pat's and Debs family. Lord please be with them, give them strength during this time of losing a loved one.

Sorry to hear this kind of news. I havent met LaserPat but thought for sure I would, sometime here on a Texas ride. He always had good post to read, and it seems like you kinda get to know people a little without meeting them in person on this board. God speed.

I am saddened by this. I had never met Pat face to face, but I know what a good man he was and he will be missed. He had sent messages of support to me for my recovery. Just another reminder of how fragile life is. Prayers sent for his family.

This is such a shock.  Charlyne and I are deeply saddened by this news.  We got to spend the afternoon with Pat and Deb last week.  I cherish that time we got to spend together.
Prayers to Deb, God speed to my friend Pat on your journey.

13 June 2008.  Lobby bar, Driskill Hotel, Austin, TX.  Two, maybe three hours after meeting Deb & Pat for the first time.

26 July 2008.  KSU on our way to InZane VIII in Johnson City, TN.  My first ever motorcycle road trip.

3 August 2008.  KSU on our way home from InZane VIII.  It was a life changing trip for me.  Thank you for the great memories.
