Nothing but the best which is why I'm not sure I want to see him continue. If we see the old Peyton Manning bring one of these also ran teams success, that will be great to see....
However, more times than not these things go badly and it tarnishes their legacy.
I'm thinking Joe Namath as a Ram...Johnny Unitas as a Charger....Joe Montana as a Chief....WILLIE MAYS AS A MET!
Oh well, love to watch him play and I wish him nothing but the best.

By NOT playing last year, Peyton showed that he was the Colt's MVP.
They went from being a contender with him, to being total crap without him.

The Colts would have been 8-8 WITH Manning last year IMO. Doesn't change the fact that Indy LOVES the guy, and it's been a TOTAL love fest around here since that news came out.
I wish him good luck, although I am skeptical that he will play WELL wherever he goes. I think his best option is the Texans... but Miami is a good bet too.
I'll root for him wherever he goes, unless he's playing the Colts.
The Colts made WHOLESALE changes. Jimmy Irsay fired the GM, Coach, Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Gary Brackett, Joe Addai, and Melvin Bullett. All big names here in Indy.
I guess we're going rebuild Whole-Hog.
OK.
We'll see what Andrew Luck brings to the team.

Although I'm sure it won't happen, Peyton Manning should be kept in Indy as the coach. Manning is the most natural leader I've seen in a long time. I'm not an Indy fan but am a Manning fan. He knows the game, the players and the owners inaddition to being an intense competitor. Being a Chiefs fan, I'd love to see him go there and bring all that expertise and talent with him. Wouldn't expect him to be on the field and much as I'd like to see him bring another quarterback along. But, some things can't be taught, they come naturally. Split second decision making is not something everyone with a strong arm excells at.

It's looking like the Broncos have a better than 50/50 chance of getting Peyton. That would be awesome in my book! Then they could ship Tebow off to Jacksonville and try to revive that fan base.

This is terrible this idea. For one thing the Jags are an expansion team without much history. What are you "reviving" by sending Tebow there? TEBOW SUCKS! Secondly, what do the Broncos do if Peyton Manning sucks when he comes back? Face it; he was already slowing down before he had three neck surgeries. But now he seems to have people fleeced into thinking that he's going to come back and be the old Peyton Manning (whether that includes pissing down his leg in big games is unclear). But there's little to NO chance of that actually happening. Could he come back and be pretty good or even very good? Sure. But he's not going to be the fantasy machine he once was and there's every chance he's going to come back and be erratic and weak. For that matter, his career could end on one play. THEN what does Denver do? No, if they sign Manning then they need to keep Tebow (but I don't think they will). Tebow sucks now but he has raw talent and the kid is a terrific runner. Some time under Manning could help him enormously as a quarterback. Of course that's assuming that Manning will tutor him and there's nothing in Manning's past to indicate that he'd be so gracious to the guy behind him. That's why he always had JAGs backing him up and why he would not restructure his deal to allow for both himself and Luck to be on the same team. He hand picked his coaches and insisted on being the highest paid player in the game (all to his team's detriment but to his immediate benefit). Peyton Manning in far more conniving, insecure and manipulative that it would seem a lot of you guys are willing to admit. His father and brother are the same way. Someday the book will come out on him. I'm willing to bet that he ends up in Arizona where he can make all his own rules, play indoors and (as Tony Dungy said would be his priority) be comfortable. If he goes that route then he's an even bigger fraud than I thought.

Bottom line is Elway doesn't want Tebow. If Peyton comes to Denver and doesn't work out then they will have to go in a different direction. Tebow won't be here long term either way. From what I have read Jacksonville has a strong interest in Tebow if only because their attendance sucks and he would bring fans to the stadium.

Peyton will NOT play in Arizona. It's in the NFC and he won't go to the NFC. It's the same conference as his little bro... and he won't put himself in that position.
I thought Houston was the best fit... but like normal I was way off. I could be about the Cards too... who knows.

Which position is tougher; playing in the same conference (different division and the NFL has inter-conference play so they could still end up playing each other) as Eli or potentially losing to him in the Superbowl? Of course, if he goes to a bad team (like Arizona) he can just make excuses for never getting back there in the first place. I am not saying that he's going to Arizona, but don't be surprised if he does bitch-out and go that route.

They have played several times.
They don't want to eliminate one another prior to the SuperBowl. That's the deal there. They're willing to face off.
He had a 6 hour meeting with the 'Phins yesterday here in Indy.
