Ride Safe!

Pumpkin Center,LA.

« on: May 16, 2009, 09:37:01 PM »

BIRD wanted me to practice some more on Free Spirit.

So, I brought our granddaughter to my babysitter and came back home and we got on the Valks.

Turned out to be pretty weather today. Didn't get rained on at all. Total miles I rode today was 115. We rode on a road with some pretty good curves on it. In  fact the only one around here. I took the curves real good. It felt real good to be riding again. Still have more practice to do on the start and stop. Did a lot of thinking about my Dad while riding. He was with me on this ride. He loved bikes. He use to have an Indian as a lad.

Once again, thanks for all the prayers and thoughts. My Daddy is walking now and not hurting anymore after 18 years.

I felt like I did when I use to ride a bike back when I was 16. Sure felt GREAT!

Glad that you took some time for yourself. I know that you have been busy with Sahvana(sp) but don't forget about Moonshine. Ride safe. Cool

Good to hear you and Bird are doing well. Sounds like you are falling right back into riding and the bike looks good. Do you know if there is going to be a ride-in in LA this fall? Hope to see you guys soon.
