« on: May 17, 2009, 04:54:52 AM »

Hooked up with Bike Mike of   http://valkyrieblingandmore.com/  along with his ridin' bud Reco both from Michigan . They came down to The Great State Of Tennessee to enjoy our beautiful mountain roads. We had ( 5 ) Valkyries ( 1 ) Harley ( 1 ) Kawasaki and a Shadow ride with us. Photo below is at " The Sinks " on Little River Road between Gatlinburg and Townsend. I love this road  Wink

Photo below was taken at " Look Rock " on The Foothills Parkway. Great group of riders today when we took The Foothills Parkway three of the riders went home. I stayed with the group and got home around 10:00 last night.

All in all a " Outstanding " day for the art of motorcycling. We did have a few bumps ...Big Mikes right fork seal blowed...Reco had a rear flat ( brand new tire ) just as we was crossing The Great Smoky Mountains. My ridin' bud Wimp had a plug kit and a can of fix-a-flat that got us back to Cherokee for more air then it was back across The Great Smoky Mountains to Pigeon Forge for supper at Corkys BBQ last night. It was still holding air then I hope it gets him back to Michigan .We saw 8 Elk just outside of Cherokee this was my first time getting to see them since they stocked them back into the Smoky Mountains  a few years ago.I had over 12 hours in the saddle and loved every minute of it.

Man it got so foggy up on the BRP at times visibility was about 12 ft. I was thinkin' if I run off the road in this chit the buzzards will find me before any humans do.  Shocked
Other than the ride home I had a blast yesterday. Thanks to Joe and Mike for inviting me. And thanks to the rest of the group for making it a great day.  cooldude
