i'd like to know, where were the wheel chocks?  they must have had those engines reved real high to be able to get over 'em.  needless to say, someone's going to loose thier job!!

They don't really say what happened. They could have been taxiing and had one side of the brakes fail causing a yaw. Then maybe they panicked. You also don't have to have run up chocks when doing engine runs as long as you're only doing one engine at a time. Parking brakes are typically sufficient. But if they fail while one engine is at 90% thrust...

What exactly happened remains to be seen. I just think they're gonna have a bitch of a time getting that thing back up on the hill.

Navy S O P-land or sea as soon as the aircraft stops-chock the main mounts-3 tie downs. coolsmiley Engine run up procedures were more stringent. crazy2 Just going by what is available to read-someone had intercourse with a canine. 2funny Be interesting to see what comes of this and the excuses that are offered up. crazy2 RIDE SAFE.
