There is a bike hearse in the Topeka area, I may make use of it's service someday in the future.  Hadn't thought much about it, but it seems like a classy way to go to me.  Hoser  angel

My long time friend Boyo who died  angel  a coupla years ago was taken from the church service in a bike/hearse sidecar outfit.

His coffin was made from willow http://www.wickerwillowcoffins.co.uk/ and was cremated.

He was escorted by about 120 bikes of all makes and sizes.  cooldude

Coffins are required by law, so I've heard.  Why to cremate is beyond me, other than increase the profit to a funeral home.   And as far as burial, I always thought it would be cheaper and more efficient to freeze the body down to 100 below zero, put a pointy metal hat on and pound you down 6-8 feet with a pile driver.

I suppose this would ruin the traditional ceremony.

And I guess there are water table issues as well.

Back to the drawing board.
