The last few days have been great for riding and I have been enjoyin.  On the dark side!  With just short of 1000 miles on my Falken Ziex 512, I have set the pressure to 36 and begun to play with it in the turns.  I have not yet hit the brake really hard in a turn nor have I accellerated really hard in a turn but certainly have braked harder and accellerated harder in the turns than I could with the MTire.  I'm forever lost!  I love this thing.  This tire does suck into road ruts more aggressively than a motorcycle tire but I don't find that to be all that much worse.    With all the things I feel are better with this tire, one negative is certainly not going to get me back to a mt.

I had the governor on the back of my Valk last night and even she was hooked.  This was her first ride since I went dark side.  She said she liked the ride much better.  Didn't feel the potholes near as much.  Yes, I took her through a gravel parking lot with several potholes that I managed to hit.   Evil  Not with her on the back but by myself, I intentionally took my valk across a gouge in the highway.  This gouge is about 1 and 1/2 to 2 inches deep and about 3 and 1/2 inches wide and it runs at about 35 to 40 degree angle to the road.  I hit this at 55 on the speedo.  The E3 on the front banged and jerked a bit but the Falken did not seem to notice it.  The ride on grooved pavment in construction areas is also an area where the Falken feels at home steady and smooth.  So it is dark side for me from now on.  It still sounds a little dirty when I say I'm ridin on a Falken Ziex.

Safe travels to all,
