for those who have done stebel or wolo horns, what have you guys used for switches? just the OEM?
i'd prefer to not use the OEM switch, as I want to have a normal horn to get someone's attention, then i want the louder horn to REALLY get their attention. just curious what other's have done

thanks

Use the oem button WITH a relay. I wanted the button that instincts are going to push when it counts to be the one that blastsit. You have to ask yourself, "Are you really going to want to have to take the time to think and decide which horn is needed for any given circumstance."   cooldude

has anyone noticed, if you have the horn on the right side, is it still loud on the left?

Right/Left doesn't matter. Some mount it under the bike on the jack adapter. It will get you noticed far better then the "meep meep" that came stock. Dave

I'd say wire it directly to the sphincter muscle...no thought as to which button to push and almost instantanious.  Cheesy Cheesy

I wired my relay right off the wire to the stock horn,,, I spliced the wire to run the relay in at the horn hot wire. That way I had the beep-beep still working (which you could not hear anyway) but if the fuse on the hot wire to the relay blew or the relay went bad I could still beep. I had one relay go bad but never blew a fuse.

A relay tied into the stock horn works great.  But you want to add it as a separate circuit.  I can't think of a good place to mount a secondary switch.  Sorry.
