Ya, I amost forgot......Its still all George Bushs fault.  Obama said he was going to halve the deficit, yet he doubled it.  Thats twice as bad as just failing......double failure on that one..........Im tired of him complaining he inherited the problems, but gives no credit when he inherits a solution.  Obama is trying to boast that under his watch oil production is up. HAHAHA....what a joke, its up maybe a little IN SPITE of Obama and all because George Bush made some good decisions about what oil companies could start doing to increase productivity

I pulled into agas station yesterday....minding my own business pumped gas.....100 miles to go to get home YeeeHa.  This guy drinking a beer at a picknic table at the side of the gas station/store says I cant stand this BS prices keep going higher....its BS..........I said remember that when you vote.......his reply was I will never vote, This is BS...........I walked over to him and smiled and said very personally politely and directly...."Then you are part of the problem" His little sarcastic grin went away and he drank some more beer.........What a perfect picture of where many in our country are.........they will complain all day but wont do anything, dont know anything, dont really care, just want to complain

Doubled the deficit?  Really?  The deficit for 2008 (Bush's last year) was about $1T once the wars were added in.  And when did Obama say he would halve the deficit? Was it on the campaign trail before the economy crashed or after?  And if the Bush tax cuts were allowed to expire as planned, the deficit would be alot smaller.  But the republicans held unemployment insurance hostage and forced them to be extended.

Again, I ask...what would you have had him do different considering Military, Medicare, Social Security, Debt interest, and other Mandatory spending (things the President cannot control, at least in the short term) would already exceed revenues before any "discretionary" spending was doled out on infrastructure, social programs, or anything else?

Just curious...did that report state that the figure was purely just from Obama policy?  Or is that just total deficit?  In other words, how much of that figure was inherited by Obama from legacy policy...like 2 wars, a crashing economy resulting in reduced revenues and increased unemployment, medicade, and welfare expenses, unfunded tax cuts, and unfunded Medicare Part D?  You do remember we were running historic deficits under the previous administration as well, right?

It's going to be all right. Gas should level off at 4$ a gallon on average nationwide.

Every Economist knows as gas goes up one dollar per gallon recession is 1 year away.

So he will squeak by in November, before the economy dumps once more.

Statistical Truth and not my opinion.
