I read here about a product like this one.  Is this particular one recommended?  Undecided

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Goldwing-Valkyrie-Balancing-Beads-Kit-Internal-Tire-Balancing-Beads-/140724748755?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20c3d941d3&vxp=mtr

If not, could you provide a link to the "right" product?  ???

Thanks!  cooldude

This is the usual source for small amounts of balancing beads.

Some folks buy in bulk from another source. Let me know if you're interested and I'll dig them up.

Exactly right. The folks at Quacko.com know that we use their beads for balancing. They use them as grinding media. I'd call them to make sure that you're getting the right beads for balancing. They used to sell to InnovativeBalancing so they know what you want. Good people.

No matter whose beads you decide to buy, if you are going to introduce them through the valve stem, I would suggest that you obtain a longer plastic tube (18-24").  That way it is possible to "trickle" them down the tube a few at a time and they arrive at the valve stem with a much higher velocity which tends to carry them on through the valve stem.  Otherwise, they clog up the valve stem and the whole exercise becomes quite frustrating.  Even at best, this operation will take a little time.  Oh yes, a car tire requires 3 oz. of beads unless it is pretty well balanced to start with.  At least, that is my findings...Jim

If you have an impact ratchet the head on the valve stem and vibrate it when you put the beads in from the plastic bottle with the tubing.  The will jiggle right in with no problems quick and easy.
