My first Valk two tire replacement, left rear wheel bearing, rear drive service is done. The test ride went well, It was perfectly quiet and smooth in the turns and bumps. I learned a lot, and hope I can help out someone as you guys have helped me.

The questions  I have.  Can the rear wheel be lifted and lined up to go into the spline with the swing arm all the way down. I tried it but couldn’t get it far enough left. The tire width seemed to be the issue.  So I jacked the swing arm up level, held it there,  as I jacked the tire up.  I think the next time I going to have a overhead hoist to hold and move things up and down.  What are your special tricks to do this?

Question 2.  When do you tighten the fount wheel axel bolt. I did it after tightening the left pinch bolts. I'm I looking at this right, it dosen't seem like compressing the forks and then tightening the right pinch bolts can do much after the axel bolt is tight. What’s your procedure?

I urge you to visit the ShopTalk section of this forum http://www.valkyrieriders.com/shoptalk/ as this is a great reference for many common Valkyrie procedures. Specifically to your tire changing needs and assembly/tightening sequences try this: http://www.valkyrieriders.com/shoptalk/TireChangeSplineLube.htm
