Missed a call from Mom yesterday, I was outside in the yard and my son was watching basketball and didnt pick up

The voicemail said Dad has a problem at the rehab in jersey so I took the Valk out and flew across the river (said some prayers at midspan for him and all our friends who need help) and rode down 9W to the rehab and went in

Dad was sitting alone in his wheelchair in the room, apparently I just missed my mom who had her phone OFF

His sugar was high and his potassium also. Mom apparently kept the rehab from bringing him back to the hospital as that is a downward spiral we dont want to dance

Played a few games of casino with him, kicked his butt, just lucky, usually he beats me, filled him in my cases this week and tried my best not to cough as I have been fighting a cough and been exhausted all week and helped him into bed for a nap before dinnertime

On the way back I enjoyed the river view of the Tappan Zee bridge, which may be torn down in a year or 4 when they replace the bridge unless they make it a pedestrian crossing at 3+ miles long

To be honest I dont recall any of the ride I must have been deep in thought and I found myself shortly in my own driveway backing the Valkyrie into the garage

It was 70 degrees and sunny, little wind, perfect visibility yet I feel lucky to get home safe with no report or pics as I was........distracted, even tho no radio or tunes were on, on purpose.  I will try better to be more in tune with the world.

Please give you Dad regards from someone neither you nor him knows. I always consider those who still have their parents to be blessed. Enjoy every moment.
