Totalled my 99 civic this morning.
Lady ran a red light and took us both out.
Doesn't seem to be any injuries. Not a good way to start the week.
Glad I wasn't on the bike. That would have hurt.

Glad you weren't hurt Pat! Are you going to the Q-in-Da-woods Saturday? It's just up the road in Grayling.

Just glad you're ok. By tomorrow you'll most likely really be feeling it in the muscles. Like you said....glad it wasn't the bike.

Just happened to think of this....sure hope the other woman's name wasn't Sarah, about 35, short and cute. My former daughter-in-law and a real sweet gal. Wish I could have kept her and got rid of the step son.  Wink

Be careful what you ask for..........

Last night just before I closed my eyes I asked to Lord to help me get out of bed when the alarm went off and not hit the snooze too many times; well, when Patrick called me just before 5:30 this morning to tell me he had been in an accident and asked that I come get him wasn't what I had in mind.

I'm so thankful he wasn't hurt and the lady who hit him wasn't hurt either. The car can be replaced. I've tried not to let my mind go to what if's. What if she would have hit him in the driver's door rather than the front end, what if he'd been on the bike? I don't typically let my mind go there. I believe God has a plan for each one of us and it was God's plan that things happened the way they did. So, I'm not going to over analyze it. I'll be thankful for the outcome.

Patrick, I love you so very much. I couldn’t imagine my world without you in it.  I look forward to taking care of you when you’re very old and grey. Oh, you are grey, when you’re very old then.

Are you an organ, tissue and eye donor for your state? Did you know one person can save or enhance the lives of up to 75 people. The # of people waiting for organs in the US would overflow the University of Michigan football stadium. It's the biggest in the country. Will seat over 109,000.

Pat, I'm glad you came out of that unscathed.

LOL!  Pat, a beautiful woman with a sense of humor who is totally devoted to your well being (and the occasional jab).  For what more could a man ask?   Grin

Well, maybe another Civic.   Roll Eyes
