Ordering some parts from HDL while they have their spring sale going on and need some info.  Don't have my bike apart yet and want to order new carb vacuum lines, but can't tell which ones I need from the HDL diagrams.  Can anyone tell me which diagram I need to be looking at and what part numbers I need?  Thanks in advance!  cooldude

Look at the air box fiche.  Saw something about "bulk tubing"...

Does a desmog get rid of all the vacuum lines for the carbs?  I was thinking of desmogging, but wasn't aware it got rid of all vacuum lines.  Can you still use a vacuum-operated cruise control if you desmog?

The bulk tubing is 3000 mm (aprox 26 ft) . I bought this a few years ago and have fixed a few Valks and sold 4 ft pieces for others to use.

Desmogging does get rid of all vacuum lines except one line from intake #6 to fuel petcock.  And in your case also intake to cruise control. I'm a nubee but this is correct and i'm sticking with it uglystupid2

My impression is that you pretty much have to do a de-smog to install the cruise; so you can use the carb vacuum nipples for the vacuum canister. That's why I'm doing it...

If you have the MCCruise unit, it draws vacuum from the #1&2 ports so desmogging would not affect it.
