I mounted my new Memphis Shades Batwing fairing and rode 300 miles.  I was impressed with the mounts. They are rock solid.  Good body and hand protection.  Windshield (9")  is too short for me at 6' 1".  It's the tallest they make so I may have to make my own.

I bought the wind deflectors but they won't work with the standard turn signals.  If you lower the signals then the right one hits the radiator cap when you do a full right turn.  Anyone else experience this and find a solution?

I would buy this again. I'm happy with it.

I too find the windshield a mite short (I'm 6'4"). Let myself and the rest of the board know what you do as far as a new shield; I'm sure others will benefit from it.

As far as the turn signals are concerned: I have had a National Cycle light bar on my Tourer for years, and use a pair of H-D spots in conjunction with a set of H-D "bullet" style turn signals and matching trim rings. These are a fairly close match to the Honda signal housings in terms of profile, and when Kuryakyn's deep-dish bezels are fitted to the rear signals, everything looks 'factory'.

I am using a Cobra lightbar and that took care of the turnsignal relocation but I had to trim the wind deflectors so they would fit over the lightbar. I had to lower the light bar about a half inch so the MS mounts would fit. If I lowered any more it to would hit the radiator cap. As it is now the wind deflectors barely hit the upper Baker airwing. I made a 10 inch windshield out of my old OEM Tourer windshield and it works fine. I will add some pics of the wind deflectors later.

That is a really nice look.  How did you attach the windshield to the fairing?

The windshield attaches with the three stainless screws that Memphis Shades supplies with one of they,re windshields. I bought a short 5 inch windshield that I use for short local solo rides but the 10 inch is alot more comfy for long trips. If you don't order one of they,re trim pieces the screws are black. I ordered the polished stainless trim and the screws match. We traced the bottom of the Memphis Shades windshield on to the old Tourer windshield and that gave us the hole location as well.

I had a similar problem with the turn signals when i mounted a HD street glide fairing. My solution turned out to be "free". I just relocated the turn signals about halfway down the fork, so now they are about an inch or two below the radiator cap. Two things to watch out for are: 1) make sure the are high enough up on the fork so the inside of the clamp will not smash into your fender if the fork bottoms out. 2) they will have to be turned inboard slightly so they dont hit the radiator. Mount it up loose, turn your bars all the way to the right, and adjust the turn signal so there is enough clearance. Hope this works. Not sure how to put a picture on here but I'll give it a try, Moe

edit:  Moe, I changed the url designation to an image designation.  Click the leftmost box for image and be sure that only the picture's url is highlighted.  -  Willow

UPDATE   After looking at some type of mod, I decided to call Memphis Shades.  Customer service said they are looking at making a taller windshield. Maybe 12-14".  May be another month or so.

Well, shoot...there goes more money.  Roll Eyes

I had originally planned to get all three (5", 7", 9") windshields, the chrome trim, air deflectors and the windshield pouch for mine and set the fairing up according to whomever wants to ride behind it, and for whatever reason. (My first Tourer now serves as an all-around backup bike for our touring and commuting "fleet".)

This new addition (should it go into production) will be a welcome one, especially for me when I'm riding the Batwing-equipped Tourer on cold mornings.
