Wasn't me. But the ones I see coming out of Pinwall have been junk. completely worn out and without the drive flange..

I will be needing one before too long, thanks to not noticing a worn/bad wheel bearing til it went clunk clunk and started the wear on the splines.

I bought a new one last year with the drive hub for around $400. Just so I would not have to go through all that. I think it was worth the money to have no worries about what I was getting.

Where did you get it?  HDL oem price for everything on the ebay listing was over $1000.  Hoser

I'm not sure what I'd end up with if I rebuilt a final drive  coolsmiley

I got this a couple of years ago for around $350... I put the final drive
on my buddy Henry's bike not long after I got it, so I don't have such
an awesome spare any more...

I saw that there was a trike shop out on the hiway near where I work...
I stopped in there, seems like a two or three guy operation... one of the
guys has a Valkyrie, they didn't have any Valkyrie rear-ends, but they knew
that good Valkyrie stuff had value...

That would be me. Should be here Tuesday. I needed one quickly and the other ones on the 'bay weren't nearly as nice.

As to the reason I needed it.....blame it on the darkside!!   Wink  Sort of.....

I put a car tire on a few years ago and I love it. HOWEVER....even though I KNOW BETTER...I did not pull the wheel every 9K or so to inspect and relube the splines. MY FAULT entirely. Lesson learned...the HARD ($$$) way!  Sad
