Clutch Bushing

My 98 always seemed to shift hard almost grinding but new to the Valyrie and the po said that it is normal. Well reading through some older posts about clutch issues a stopped at the local dealer and picked up a new bushing. Ten bucks for this little brass? bushing felt ripped off until I put it on. Three minute job and a 30 mile test ride and it shifts better than it ever did. Mine didn't look bad but sure works better. Might be worth checking out. Thanks all the people that have been there and done that and take time to report there findings. Us newbies do appreciate it..

Ouch! Should have looked a bit more. I'll bet that's on here somewhere.

Not only was my Bushing shot my lever handle was also worn out Big time, replaced both and now it like a new clutch. It sneaks up on ya I didn't realize it was so bad until I felt what new was like again.
Only have 51,000 on the bike.
 Ronayers .com lever was $11.83 and the bushing was $7.71 and shipping was $5.00 $24.54 to the door.
