The fist time I heard the word was in a Simpsons episode, the one about Jedidiah Springfield (who turend out to be Hans Sprungfeld). "His cromulence has embiggened us all."

I don't think it's an actual, factual word.

So it's entered the pop-culture lexicon (like the word "Douchebaggery" which I'm pretty sure I invented) but it's not an official word.
