I'm thinking of putting an interstate tank on my tourer that has velocity stacks, other than a half inch spacer to raise the front of the tank is anything needed? Would a belly tank be less hassle?

The bottoms are the same.  So, whatever worked on the std, works on the IS tank.  I have IS tank on my 97, love it!

Mirion,

thanks for the diagram! That will keep me from recreating the wheel.

+1

I have one (IS tank) on my 97 with Velocity Stacks. I also have one of the motosen fuel gauges as well. My only issue was that I had to change my Ultimate seat as the IS tank has a wider back end.
