(Memphis) MLGW has confirmed a second employee has been killed in a crash in as many weeks.
Dexter Davis, Crew Leader, Service Construction & Maintenance (SSC) was fatally killed in a motorcycle crash Thursday evening.
The crash happened around 6pm at Thomas and Floyd.
Memphis police say the driver of a Nissan Xterrra veered into another lane and hit a car then hit Davis who was on a motorcycle.
The Xterra then flipped and landed on its side.
Dexter and a passenger, Angela Jones, were thrown from the motorcycle and then taken to The MED in critical condition.
Both later died of their injuries.
The driver of the Xterra, 20-year-old Jeremy Nilson, was issued a citation for Failure to Devote Full Attention and Financial Responsibilities.
It’s not clear if the people in the car that was hit were injured.
March 14, Michael Moore, an MLGW Customer Service Tech, was killed on his motorcycle when a car pulled in-front of him at Graves and Winchester in Whitehaven
Don't have any more info on either of these right now - other than I think both happened at evening
rush hour. I really try to avoid riding then - and morning too. People are in too much off a rush.
Prayers out to all families involved.

Gee, he was "fatally killed". Is that better or worst than being "killed"?

What gets me is there is very little information in the video about the victim. Yet we get a life history and rap sheet on the drunk.
