Everyone has their favorite cleaners, waxes etc. Is there a chrome polish that's considered the best of the best?

Thanks

I use Joe's Juice for just about everything. Be careful using chrome polish, any plastic parts on your bike that have been chromed will scratch.

I've not polished chrome. I just wash it and get the water spots off. Aluminum parts I use Mothers Billett and Meguires polishes. Also have Mother's mini ball for use in a drill motor.

Bar Keepers Friend or Bon Ami works for me.  I also use Bon Ami to polish out the marks left on the paint by the passenger seat on the rear fender

This sounds like an OIL thread to me.
I do have a bottle of Mother's in garage.
I also have a bottle of Nu Finish and Liquid Glass (more expensive) which are auto waxes. I have used Turtle Wax products and other products whose names escape me.
I have used all of these products on both my chrome parts and painted parts.
Know what I think? They are all OK for either paint or chrome and there's not a dime worth of difference. It's all marketing and whichever commercial or someone's recommendation hooks you, that's what you'll use and swear by.

My two cents

WDan, you may be right, except wax on pipes and hot parts can get smoky.

My 2 cents as well.  I use cheap old turtle wax chrome polish/rust remover on all my chrome parts.  If let sit and use a little elbow grease, this does remove some surface rust pretty darn good for less than 2 bucks per bottle and not much is really needed and it shines the chrome pretty good as well.

Lemon Pledge on everything after washing if really dirty or just Pledge & microfibre cloth for dust & bugs on windshield.
Spray & wipe with one side of folded cloth then re-wipe with dry side of cloth.
Also have small can & cloth in saddlebag.

I use Mothers on all of my chrome except for the exhaust.  I use Blue Job on the exhaust because it takes all the discoloring off the headers.

I would use Blue Job on everything but it costs $13.00 for a 1/2 ounce.

Good soap and water serves most of my needs.
Warm soapy water and shiney side aluminum foil, knocks down rust and shines it right up.  I had a lot of spots that I didn't think would come clean on my pipes, but before I spent a fist full of dollars on some product I did a quick search online for some homemade solutions.  Sure enough it did the job and it looks great.  Use the extra money for beer.

Magic Mix Metal Polish!  http://www.valco-cp.com/Magic%20Mix.htm

A Honda rider, working behind the parts counter at a HD shop turned me on to this 22 years ago.

If your not using this stuff, your wasting your time, money and energy.   Roll Eyes  They don't call it "The Lazy Man's Metal Polish" for nothing.

If your really serious, you will buy this.   coolsmiley

Man, if I could have back all the money I have spent over the years trying to find the perfect polish...

If you don't want to make the effort to get a bottle of Magic Mix, White Diamond is a REALLY close second.

Your welcome!  Cool

If it just needs cleaned I use windex on chrome.  It it needs polished and haze or ground in dirt removed.  Hoosiers metal polish. The only place I have ever found it is at a semi dealership.
