After searching, I see Pingle has vacuum and non-vacuum valves. Would someone please post the link to the non-vacuum petcock for the Valk? Do other online stores sell them, or are they only available from Pingle?

Also, how many miles on reserve are folks getting with the Pingle?
Thanks!

You want the Pingel model 1311-CH (non-vacuum) petcock.  Plus, you need an inline filter.  Get the Pingel SS5P, which has 3/8" fuel hose connectors.  Best prices for both are on Amazon.

Here is the link to the petcock:

Here is the link to the fuel filter:

I've heard that due to the Pingel's shorter fuel pickup tube you will experience a lower reserve fuel level.  However, I've also heard that some folks on this forum have modified or replaced the pickup tube to restore the original reserve fuel level.

Thank you. Much appreciated.  cooldude

One question.... why the fuel filter? I assume the pingle has a screen like the stock petcock?

Or just rebuild your oem petcock and install the Dan Marc electric fuel valve as per MarkT's excellent instructions found here: http://horseapple.com/Valkyrie/Tech_Tips/Fuel_Shutoff/fuel_shutoff.html

By getting the Honda petcock rebuild kit plus the Dan Marc electric fuel valve you may also save a few bucks compared to the cost of the Pingel.

Personally, I like the look of the left side of the bike with the oem petcock.

YMMV,

WOW! Amazon was 20 bucks cheaper than ordering it from Pingel. I did have to pay tax, but the shipping was free..... Thanks for the tip.
