I noticed this is now available in 195/60/16.  Just wondering if anyone has tried one yet.  You can see it here.

I haven't, but I hit some tire stores this weekend just looking at options.

I gotta say that if we bought tires strictly on looks, the Hankook Ventus R-S3 wins in my book.  But with a treadware rating of only 140, the sexiness would wear off pretty quick  :\

If I were to buy a Hankook right now, it'd be the Ventus V12 Evo K110 because of the combination of treadwear/speed rating/looks for just $97.

Maybe next time... this time around the Falken's going on.

I'm running the same size dunlop sport 5000 got a great deal on e-bay 65 bucks new.  But for 90 some buck looks good very similar tread design as mine.  You'll run 200 extra rpms at 75 MPH with that size.  Plenty of clearance and no mods to mount that size piece of cake.

I agree it's not the best looking tire out there, but I like that it is 195 instead of 205.

No argument here, we likes what we likes but we all likes our bikes.
Mine gets her first CT tomorrow  cooldude so I'm going with the Falken 512 after a recommendation and a test drive.
So now that we're clear that I'm definately no expert, here are some comparison numbers to add to the conversation:

Not that model, but I have been running a Hankook for the past 5 years.  Nice tire and reasonable.  I paid $65 including mounting.
