the topic up for discussion on WGN radio in Chi-town was snow on truck trailers. there was a gentleman guest who owns a pizza parlor and got a chunk of ice through his cadillac windshield, he is now permanently blind in one eye. I really feel for him.
there is a company out of Minnesota that makes a 'truck rake' that you can scrape off the snow from the ground. that's a great idea, but it will probably not work for ice, you all know how hard it is to scrape ice off your windshield much less it a height of 13'6".
the only point I'd like to make that none of the truckers that called in made is; if you get hit by ice from the truck in front of you, BACK OFF. you are traveling way to close.
