BTW, ask people down south whether feral pigs are a problem. These things typically start because a few get loose, replicate and then all hell breaks loose. Invasive species are a HUGE problem in this country. I'm not saying that this situation deserves government intervention but I can certainly see precedent for keeping an eye on it.

Seriously, though: If paying close attention, the reader usually can see where there are gaps in the facts, and overstatements designed to generate emotional, rather than factual, responses.
