First off it Sucked. No where near the bikes as in the past. In the city limits, have to wear a helmet, no loud exhausts, and no gathering in parking lots. And they will fine you. Seems the law had ck. points and was at every other intersection.  The vendors couldn't set up til Monday so they missed the first weekend business. I know some from Big Dog Choppers. Evidently M.B. made a new law no one knew about. They got fined 500. bucks for displaying the price on their bikes. Stallion got the same. Stallion left. Bigdog said what the heck and left the prices on. Already got the fine. The Ratshole now charges to enter. 10. bucks a person to make up for their lost income. Business there say they are already struggling and the mayor just threw gas on it. The Mayor said on the news that the bikers need to look in the mirror. Its their fault for the new laws. We stayed at a family owned motel. Which I feel for them, they depend on these two weeks as a balloon income to make there yearly payments. Ins. and taxes. As we did when the tobacco ck. came once a year. Suck Bang Blow seemed to be the happening place. Good band, wet T-shirts and burnouts. Which they are in Murrells Inlet. So if haven't been to the Myrrtle beach rally, I'd say sorry you've missed it. Because I think its a thing of the past. Is for me anyway.

Sounds just like a yearly VRCC Inzane Rally. You can still make that, there is one just a couple months away in a high state near everyone.

Suck bang and blow is where it is at.
Sadly, it is probably the only place it is at.
That rally has been down hill for years. No parking signs. Getting multiple tickets on the same loud pipes.

It hasn't been a priority for me for a long time.

Does Suck Bang Blow still close for the second week of sport bikes? They used to. Took a loss financially, but didn't want to participate in the chaos and disorder that was giving bike week a bad rep.

Yeah, my sister just happened to be there, didn't know it was bike week (she is NOT
a motersickle fan!!) and she said the bikers weren't a problem, but the LEO's were!
Had roads blocked off and checkpoints here and there and it was a real hassle trying
to get back to their hotel after going out. Sad that everybody has to suffer because
of the actions of a few in-breds. Angry

and this is the reason, Delmarva bikeweek is picking up. When the guys who cuise the coast and hit all of them from new england down come here, Its the most enjoyable week of them all...no hassles, no problems, and lots of good riding. the oasis out in whaleyville is the wild bar here. pudding wrestling, bull rides, shot contests ( non-alcohol kind)

Its a shame but I quit going years ago because the LEO's got so bad there in MB. I just hit NJ and my own cuz its close to home and no hassles...

I have avoided MB for years now due to LEO's and their attitudes at all times of the year.

A great spot to relax is just north at Kure beach.

Also, and even closer, is Ocean Isle beach (NC)...
