That was funny.

Back in 2007 I was driving through Indiana and saw signs for Tom Raper RV centers. I mean big giant billboards every few miles. I don't care if thane came over on the Mayflower. I'd change it to something less "rapey".

Why I generally don't drink PBR

BeerMe.com

Go to the drop down menu under "Sponsors" and scroll down to the US States and find a brew pub near you! Awesome MADE IN HOMETOWN AMERICA beer! WOO HOO!

I plan my vacations with this site. Most times the pub is known for great food as well.

Cause it tastes like crap

cooldude cooldude  I thought so in the 60's, and I'm pretty sure it still does.

We drank Ballentine's light lager in college;  was $0.99 a six, and tasted pretty good.  Or homegrown Stroh's.

they were giving away free pabst in a bar I was working at . I told them no way. I went and got a lone star instead. I can't stand the taste or aftertaste of pabst.

I always thought PBR was AOK, but I'm not that particular.  My taste buds usually agree with my wallet.

In the late 70s, used to drink Red White & Blue to save money rather than drinking PBR.

Also, at that time, Miller High Life was a step ABOVE just about everything except for Michelob and imports.  When asked why I now drink High Life, I explain that I moved UP to that brand (from Hamms, Wiedemann, and Blatz).

I guess the taste of Pabst is acquired through time. It's all that was readily available to me as a teenager. Through many years of drinking the same beer over and over. Every other brand tends to taste like crap anymore. I am glad I gained the stomach and stamina to handle a night with PBR. Since I am considered an "Old Fart" in college. I can really pour it on the younger generation when comes to party time.
