Hitch Info for Interstate

I know this subject has been addressed before and I hate to ask the question but I cannot find the info I need. So if someone could help I would appreciate it. First, I am considering triking my Interstate but until then I want to install a trailer hitch on it. Question---does anyone have or know where I can get a set of hitch drawing that are complete with
dimensions
? I have pics of two configurations from this forum and one only has
part
of the dimensions on it. I have a shop that can make the hitch but I need complete drawings if I can get them.
Second, regardless of the hitch configuration, looking closely at the bike, it seems there could be some difficulty mounting a hitch due to the clearance between the bags, etc. I have read where there is a bolt mod that has to be done. Also, I have read somewhere that a hitch installation moves the bags out and gives the bike a fat look. What kind of problems should I expect mounting a hitch on the Interstate? Any comments or advice will be appreciated.

Yes, The bags are spaced out a bit but my tourer looks just fine. The cross brace under the fender should be deleted. I've been cross country 4 times without it with loaded bags. No problems. If you can find allthread to use instead of fender bolts, you'll have an easier time removing the bags for service. Chrome spacers are available at Ace Hardware.
