How many Bikes do you have in the stable ?  There are those with M.B.S. here and I wounder how your S.O. views the collection in the garage ? Is it a source of irritation or does she feel that she knows where you are ( Turning a wrench or shining up the Iron steed. ) Please let me know what is in your collection.

I've got 2, the Valk and an ST1300... And I found the best way to deal with the spousal unit and the extra bike - The ST1300 is technically hers, even if I ride it more than she does... Wink

I have five as shown below. The "wifey" is supportive but I think I may reached her tolerance limit with my last purchase. The CB 1000C and the Valks are my favorites. The CB 1000 runs like a "scalded" dog.   Cheesy  Don't get me wrong the VTX's are good machines, but I really get my "jollies" with the others.   Evil

I'm jealous that ya'll have that much room for sooo many bikes.  I've only got a little one car garage and the Valk takes up most of the space.  I might could fit a project bike in there somewhere, but it'd be tight fit with a capital T.

'97 Tourer is mine.

'98 Tourer is hers.

'05 Shadow Spirit 750 is hers. Haven't seen it for a couple years though. We loaned it to her brother in Melbourne when he wrecked his bike {not his fault} then when he came back from his vacation/recovery time he was laid off.  Sad

And lastly the '99 Standard nearing completion to it's Tourer conversion for both of us.

See... 2 1/2 of our 4 bikes are hers. That's how to do it!  Grin

I had up to 5, but find 2 is just right (for me).  Though they're both almost always in top condition, if one goes down, you can just park it and take the other.  The non-valks just did not get ridden much, and it got to the point where I had to ride them at certain intervals just to keep them in good running condition.  When you factored in plates, insurance, inspections, personal property taxes, maintenance-oil-tires, and a serious storage issue, the scales were tipped.  And the good news was I got three sold just in time to add the nice proceeds to the divorce settlement for the crazy person.   crazy2 (sarcasm font)

3.  1999 Valk Interstate, 2007 Goldwing, and 2003 Vstar 1100.  The Vstar is not ridden and would take some money to get it going again.  Carb work.
But here are the 2 that get ridden frequently.

Five (5)

1979 Kawasaki KZ1300
1984 Honda V65 Sabre
1988 Honda Goldwing
1997 Honda Valkyrie Std
1999 Honda Valkyrie Interstate

No issues with the spousal unit concerning the bikes.

Bikes are a hobby and a passion that helps relieve stress and increases the enjoyment of life.
So why would anyone object?
