I just picked up my Corbin Stinger seat yesterday from Irving upholsterer.
Some of you wanted a report so here is with photos.

I wanted him to modify seat to stop me from sliding down toward tank. He did this by building up padding in front of crotch area so i would stay centered in the "bucket".
I also had him re-cover with black ostrich faux.
I also brought him a sheepskin backrest cover left over from a Mustang backrest on my previous bike. It was way too wide for the Corbin backrest so he cut cover down for a snug fit.

I was going to have him add a gel pad for more cushioning but, at last minute, decided against this as gel pads retain a lot of heat after sitting in sun. They were originally used to cut down some of the vibration from the big V-Twin engines. Valks do not have this problem.
His quote with the gel pad was $275.
Without the gel pad, I paid $200. He did not charge extra for taxes.
I am VERY pleased with Paul's work.

I am thinking of trying to do something for my I/S OEM seat that would make it more comfy for me. Right now, after about 50 miles, my butt starts hurting and feels like there is no relief in sight.  Although I love my Valk, my HD Ultra Classic seat was very comfy and I could easily do 150 miles no problem. Does anyone know if the OEM seat can be improved or am I going to have to buy some seats?

A good motorcycle seat upholsterer probably can.
Ask around and find someone in your area who does this and ride your bike over and let him take a look at you sitting on the seat and, if he is good, he should be able to improve on even the OEM seat.
Won't cost you to have someone take a look.

In the SHOPTALK section, there is an article called the Rood Saddle Mod.  Look easy enough to door to an OEM seat.
